Second Open Source GIS UK Conference - OSGIS 2010

The OSGIS conference series has a strong international focus and takes a holistic approach in bringing together speakers and delegates from government, academe, industry and open source communities. High profile speakers from all over the world are invited for giving presentations and running hands-on workshops for the conference series.

For the last two decades, AGIT is being seen as a trendsetter and pioneer of geographic information. This year, AGIT 2010 takes place from the 7^th to the 9^th July at  the University of Salzburg inviting the german interested parties in geographic information. This year Agit 2010 combines applied symposium and practical panel exhibition presenting trends and innovation for the geographical information community.

The EnviroInfo 2010 is an international and interdisciplinary conference and a meeting place for experts and practitioners on leading environmental ICT technologies to make the world a better place for living. It takes place the 6^th to 8^th October in Cologne and Bonn and aims to report about state-of-the-art applications of ICT as well as newest developing trends in the field of environmental informatics. It will cover cross-cutting topics like applications of geographical information systems, environmental modelling and simulation, risk management, material and energy flow management, climate change, tools and database applications and other aspects with regard to the main topic ICT and the environment. The EnviroInfo 2010 conference will have a special focus on the topic “Integration of Environmental Information in Europe”.

Europe is facing some enormous challenges. The current developments call for innovative and regional approaches. These approaches are not being developed in isolation though; here as well, the focus is on "cross-border cooperation".

Before this backdrop, the euregia in Leipzig is the ideal platform for presenting concepts, strategies, and projects - both at the expert fair and at the congress. It is an excellent opportunity to share views with colleagues and experts from many countries, and to meet new people.

POLEKO is a well-known Internationation Trade Fair of Environmental Protection and will be held for 22^nd time on 23^rd to 26^th November 2010 in Posen. The largest trade show in Central and Eastern Europe devoted to ecology is an effective business platform for all specialist and industry focused parties with the scope of waste, sewerage, water, renewable energy, recycling council and low-energy housing. The trade fair has four special exhibitions, namely:
Recycling Exhibition,
Renewable Energy Exhibition,
Measurement and Control Equipment Exhibition and
Science for the Environment.
